As a mom of two children growing up in Grand Rapids Public Schools, Amber understands the hopes, dreams, and challenges families face every day. She's right there with you , which is exactly why she ran for the school board, and why this community elected her.
Now serving a four-year term through December 2028, Amber's commitment remains the same: amplifying the voices of families, students, and staff, and bringing urgent, accountable, healing-centered change to the district. She believes every child deserves a nurturing environment where they can thrive — and every family deserves to be heard and respected.
